Federal contractor employees also have rights.  In support services contracts, agencies often take actions or have terms that create a “joint employer” situation with the contractor or its employees.  When this happens, the contractor employee may have employment rights similar to a Federal employee, to include equal employment opportunity and whistleblower protection.  Additionally, Federal policy and regulations require contractor compliance with Equal Opportunity standards.  When a contractor violates Department of Labor standards with respect to its employees, the employees may have causes of action to protect their rights and jobs.

ER&SS has helped Federal contractor employees seek redress against their employers for discriminatory practices or against the Federal Government for improper, overreaching practices.

If you are a contractor employee that has been subject to improper activities from your employer or the Federal Government, such as discriminatory behavior, a hostile work environment, or abusive interference with your work performance, ER&SS is the right choice to reclaim balance in your professional life.
